Super thankful for all of you that came to share the love today!! Maria and Gus are so dear to me as are so many of you ❤️. We crafters can get so weary this time of year, working long hours and exhausting ourselves with super late nights in the studio and sore fingers and hands, but I am always reenergized when I get to meet you, old and new friends and customers, and remember that for me, clay is about connecting us together in quiet sacred moments like taking time for tea or coffee from a ceramic vessel, eating dinner at home with family… serving food for gatherings in a handmade bowl or platter… from my hands to yours we both enjoy the centering, grounding power of the earth (clay) and pass it on to others ❤️. I have many pieces of pottery I collect from other makers because I enjoy the energy that comes from their hands into my home ❤️. And listen to me being all sentimental 🤔😭😘. Night night, see you tomorrow! 📸: @munozgm (at Phinney Neighborhood Association)
