Getting closer to figuring this one out

New things in the works

It seems like everyone is jumping through hoops to figure things out right now. As we prepare the first week of online classes at @eastmitchellclay there are many new things to quickly work through as well. One of those things is video editing. Here’s a short practice video of me trimming a cup today.

I finally finished sanding the last few pots that were headed to NCECA. With everything going on in the world my chief focus has not been making pots. But now that I have nothing else to do really I guess it’s time to get back into it. This is one of my favorites from the most recent group.

I just added a couple items to my website.

12 more cups to finish. My goal was to get these done in time for NCECA. When I got news of cancellation early last week and the general state of the world I lost all motivation. Finally a week later I’m getting back to them.

I hope everyone is heathy and well out there! Keep on truckin’!

This basket is a collaboration piece between @rachel_clark_ceramics and I for Collaborative Companions III. The show will be in June @companiongallery and will feature collaborative pieces from 44 different artists. (at East Mitchell Clay)
